I’m
sorry that I’ve not updated here for a good while but this summer has been a
season of total chaos for us.
We were
hit by two massive storms in late June, the first with almost tennis-ball sized
hail that caused enormous damage to our property and to our two cars (one of
which had to be written off).
The
second storm took down five of our trees and so for a couple of weeks my
chainsaw was red hot as we worked hard to clear the land.
So,
rather than finishing off the next Sarob Press volume, and as well as clearing
the trees, we’ve been absolutely inundated with masses of insurance paperwork
(the French do love paper), and dealing with roofers and builders, and garages
etc.
In
between we did manage to fit in a pleasant and much needed weeks’ holiday in
the sunny Dordogne.
But,
just to put everyone at ease… I’m now very close to finishing the next Sarob
Press book and hope, all being well, to fully announce VOTIVE OFFERINGS around
the middle of next month.
The
book is likely to arrive from my printers sometime in mid December (much
depends on my printers’ workload)… but I’d probably expect to be shipping no
sooner than early-on in January.
Watch
this space as they say for a new title announcement in a few weeks or so.
Any
changes to this plan (because you never know) I’ll post here.
